Mattress rules around Northwest Arkansas
City bulk pickups take mattresses, each with its own rules. Here’s what the official pages say.
- Rogers: GFL’s monthly bulk pickup takes mattresses only if they’re wrapped in plastic, and each one counts toward the two free items a month.
- Springdale: The bulky waste pickup allows up to 4 mattresses or box springs a year.
- Bentonville: Mattresses are on Republic’s list of typical bulk items. Each one needs its own email request, and pickups are one item a week.

From City of Rogers: GFL Curbside Waste, City of Springdale: Bulky Waste Program, City of Bentonville: Large Item Pickup and City of Fayetteville: Bulky Waste, checked September 30, 2026.
