Local rules

City pickups and a whole-house cleanout

City bulk pickups are built for a piece or two at a time. Here’s what the official pages allow.

  • Bentonville: The large-item pickup is one item per week, with a separate request for each item.
  • Bella Vista: Republic’s large-item pickup takes one item per week, and no appliances.
  • Fayetteville: For bulky items worth keeping out of the landfill, the city points residents to Habitat for Humanity of Northwest Arkansas to see if they’re eligible for donation.

From City of Bentonville: Large Item Pickup, City of Bella Vista: Trash & Recycling and City of Fayetteville: Bulky Waste, checked September 30, 2026. Rules and fees change, so confirm with your city before you set anything out. Chums is not affiliated with any city, district or hauler.

Common questions

Estate Cleanouts questions

Can you work with a realtor or executor’s timeline?

Yes. We handle estate and property cleanouts on a schedule that works for the sale, closing, or family timeline.

What if the family wants certain items kept or donated?

Just point them out. We set keepsakes aside and rehome or donate usable items whenever we can.

Do you clear the whole house, including attic and basement?

Yes — top to bottom, including attics, basements, garages, and storage areas, down to broom-clean.

Do you run estate sales?

We clean up after an estate sale. We don’t run the sale itself. We can clear what’s left afterward, down to broom-clean.
