Remodel debris and city pickups
Most curbside programs treat remodel debris as someone else’s problem. Here’s what the official pages say.
- Rogers: GFL doesn’t pick up construction or demolition debris, and names toilets, boards, plywood and cabinets as examples.
- Springdale: The bulky pickup limits construction materials to 2 cubic yards.
- Fayetteville: The free curbside pickup excludes treated lumber, concrete slabs, ceramic toilets and sinks, and railroad ties. At the Transfer Station drop-off, paneling is limited amounts only, and no contractors.
From City of Rogers: GFL Curbside Waste, City of Springdale: Bulky Waste Program and City of Fayetteville: Bulky Waste, checked September 30, 2026. Rules and fees change, so confirm with your city before you set anything out. Chums is not affiliated with any city, district or hauler.
Common questions
Construction Debris questions
Do you work with contractors on a schedule?
Yes. Call or text and we will work around your build. Same-day pickup may be available when the schedule allows.
Is this cheaper than renting a dumpster?
Often, for one-time or mid-project hauls — you only pay for the space your debris takes, with no rental, permit, or haul-away fees to manage. Text photos for a price. Compare a dumpster rental and a one-trip haul.
What construction debris can you not take?
No hazardous materials — asbestos, wet paint, chemicals, solvents, or fuels. We can point you to the proper disposal for those.
Can remodel debris go out with city bulk pickup?
Usually not much of it. Rogers’ GFL pickup won’t take construction or demolition debris at all, and Springdale limits construction materials to 2 cubic yards. We haul the pile, priced by the space it takes.
Do you pull up old carpet?
We pull up old carpet, or haul carpet that’s already up. Pulling it up is priced into the job.
Do you haul concrete?
Yes. Concrete has its own page, because it’s heavy and each job is priced on its own. See concrete removal.
