A hot tub is priced once we see it and the way out: its size, whether it still holds water, and access through gates, stairs or decks. Photos of the tub and the path get you an upfront price.

Hot tubs and city pickups

Of the city programs we checked, only Fayetteville mentions hot tubs, and only the covers.

Fayetteville: The curbside bulky pickup list names hot tub covers. It doesn’t list the tub itself.

Do you dismantle the hot tub, or does it have to be in pieces first?

We dismantle it on-site as part of the job. You do not need to cut it up beforehand — just show us the access in your photos.

Can you get it out of a fenced or raised backyard?

Usually, yes. Send photos of the gate, stairs, or deck so we can plan the safest way out and give an accurate price.

Is the old water a problem?

Let us know if the tub still holds water so we can plan for it — a drained tub is easier and usually cheaper to remove.

Can the city haul away my old hot tub?

Not that we’ve found. Fayetteville’s bulky pickup list names hot tub covers only, and the other city programs we checked don’t list hot tubs. We take the whole tub.
