Common question

How to get rid of construction debris?

City pickup, a dumpster or a one-trip haul. Which one fits depends on how much debris there is and whether it’s already in a pile.

City pickup takes very little of it. Rogers’ bulk pickup won’t take construction or demolition debris, Springdale limits construction materials to 2 cubic yards, and Fayetteville’s curbside pickup excludes treated lumber and concrete slabs. A dumpster suits a long project where debris comes out a little at a time. We don’t rent those, but we’ve written up how a dumpster compares with a one-trip haul.

A haul suits a pile that’s already there. With our construction debris removal, the crew loads it and hauls it off, priced by the space it takes in our trailer. We can’t take hazardous materials like asbestos, wet paint, solvents or fuels.

City rules from City of Rogers: GFL Curbside Waste, City of Springdale: Bulky Waste Program and City of Fayetteville: Bulky Waste, checked September 30, 2026. Rules and fees change, so confirm with your city before you set anything out. Chums is not affiliated with any city, district or hauler.
