When a dumpster makes sense
- A long project where debris piles up over weeks, like a room-by-room remodel.
- You want to load at your own pace and don’t mind the lifting.
- You have room for the container and a place it can sit.
When a one-trip haul makes sense
- The pile is ready now and you want it gone.
- Heavy or awkward items: appliances, furniture, hot tubs.
- Stairs, basements or tight spots.
- No room for a container in the driveway.

Does Chums rent dumpsters or trailers?
No. We don’t rent dumpsters or trailers. We bring our trailer, do the loading and haul it away.
Is a one-trip haul cheaper than renting a dumpster?
Often, for one-time or mid-project hauls: you only pay for the space your junk takes, with no rental, permit or haul-away fees to manage. Text photos for a price.
What if my project runs for weeks?
A dumpster you keep filling may suit a long project. We also set up scheduled or recurring pickups, so call or text and we’ll plan it with you.
What can you not take?
For safety and legal reasons we cannot remove hazardous waste, paint, oil, fuels, chemicals, biohazard materials, pressurized tanks, or medical sharps.
