Common question
What is an estate cleanout?
An estate cleanout is clearing a home of what’s left in it, usually after a death, a move to a smaller place, or before a sale. It can be one room or the whole house, attic, basement and garage included.
It isn’t an estate sale. We clean up after an estate sale, but we don’t run the sale itself. The job is removing furniture, appliances and household goods, and leaving the place broom-clean.
A common order is to keep what matters, sell or give away what has value, then have the rest hauled. With our house and estate cleanouts, you point out what stays, and we set keepsakes aside and clear the rest on a schedule that works for the sale, the closing or the family.
